Todd's passion for the great outdoors began in NW Montana near Glacier National Park, where he spent his formative years adventuring and exploring its rugged beauty. This early love for nature led him to study environmental science at Montana State University (MSU), where he discovered the fascinating world of cartography.
Upon graduating, Todd combined his academic knowledge with his love for nature by founding Roam Yellowstone, a guiding company aimed at bringing others into the wilderness and making the great outdoors his office. While guiding, he began creating a variety of maps to enhance the experience for his clients. These maps, rooted in his extensive outdoor experience, became indispensable tools for his adventures, helping him navigate virtually unvisited locations and stay safe and oriented in the elements.
Maps have always captivated Todd. He learned how to craft highly detailed maps with complex shading and to use color-correcting software to create visually stunning pieces. His fascination with maps and their utility inspired him to take his passion further. Noticing how his favorite maps were often hung up as keepsakes, he decided to make maps that would help people remember their travels and vacations.
